The Welcome Waggin' was founded by Dr. Lisa McIntyre in 2007 with the goal of providing exceptional care and service in your pet's home environment. By minimizing the stress of travel, reducing the likelihood of disease transmission, and observing your pet in its natural surroundings, we are able to help maintain your companion's optimal health and well-being. Home veterinary care is ideally suited for working professionals, busy parents, multiple pet owners, the elderly or disabled, and owners of animals that become anxious in a hospital setting. As a pet owner, you are fortunate to live in an area supported by veterinary specialty centers and 24 hour care facilities. We are privileged to work with these hospitals or your existing animal clinic to provide the most comprehensive veterinary care.

A new client testimonial... September 2018
Our Eddie was a 15 year old Blue Heeler who's health was deteriorating. It is never easy to make the decision to say goodbye. After losing another dog unexpectedly a few years back and having to abruptly let him go in a harsh, clinical environment, I wanted Ed to cross the rainbow in the comfort of his home without the fear, confusion and panic. The Dr. and assistant, Sara, came respectfully into our home like welcome guests. They were so compassionate not only with Ed but with us. They sat with us until we were ready and allowed me to hold Ed until he passed. As his breaths slowed, they listened as we talked about Ed's life and his silly and mischievous moments actually making us laugh amongst the tears. It was an incredibly peaceful and loving passing and I am forever grateful for them and the experience we had. Thank you!
