Ashley began her journey with Welcome Waggin’ in early 2026. She brings experience from both a busy general practice and a fast-paced emergency veterinary hospital, where she developed the ability to stay calm under pressure while providing compassionate care when animals need it most. Earlier in her career, she was also involved in animal rescue work, which strengthened her commitment to advocacy, rehabilitation, and giving animals a second chance. Ashley especially enjoys building relationships with her patients and their parents, believing that trust and connection are just as important as medicine. She treats every animal she works with as if it were her own—with patience, empathy, respect, and genuine love.

A proud dog-and-cat girl at heart, Ashley has a lifelong passion for animals of all kinds. Her home reflects that passion and is filled with a lively menagerie of beloved pets. She shares life with her wonderful family, her two busy girls, and her better half who holds her heart. When she’s not at work, Ashley enjoys spending time outdoors kayaking, fishing, and camping with the people she loves most. She also has a special interest in reptiles and hopes to open a small reptile rescue in the future to help provide safe homes and proper care for animals in need.
